Karya Pudja Pantja Wali Krama 1960

Karya Pudju Pantja Wali Krama celebration described in this booklet is a religious ceremony in Bali observed one in ten years. It centers in Pura Besakih, where the main gods (Siwa, Brahma, and Wishnu) of the Hindu-Balinese religion together with its other gods and goddesses have their abode. These gods and goddesses are carried in procession for four days along the route of 80 kilometers from and back to Besakih Temple. This is the first description of Karya Pudju Pantja Wali Krama celebration since its last celebration in 1933, and most possible it is the only existing one.
